POTENTIAL BENEFITS OF TIP MEMBERSHIP

  • Total Insurance Plus (TIP) has a successful track record as a network developer and aggregator, and it also has a record of negotiations yielding competitive commissions, premium volume commitments, and profit sharing incentives with its Carrier Network members.
  • TIP is owned by Independent Agents who themselves value and respect independence! As a result, TIP does NOT seek to manage, brand or otherwise control your agency in any sense.
  • As a TIP Network Member, you continue to receive 100% of your commissions direct from TIP’s Carrier Network – paid directly to you !!
  • The exact nature of benefits applicable and / or valuable to your Agency will vary by reason of the Agency’s current book of business, strategy, loss ratio performance, and more.   • TIP’s business strategy is to serve independent agencies, not to accumulate wealth in support of corporate overhead or stockholder gains. As a result, the cost of Network Membership is low and the yield is high – our entry fee is ZERO, our low monthly membership fee is fixed for the duration of you uninterrupted membership,and our distribution of profit sharing incentives is 90%
  • By being a part of TIP, many Network Members may, depending on their agency book of business and performance results, may be able to gain access to a wider array of carrier markets not otherwise available to them currently

CRITERIA FOR NETWORK MEMBERSHIP

  • A consistent record of high moral and ethical standards
  • A stable financial company with a reputation for client service and value
  • Reasonable business volumes with TIP Network Carriers, and a willingness to grow those volumes through selection
  • Acceptable loss ratios which exhibit thoughtful risk analysis and underwriting
  • Though our Membership Criteria is limited, it is designed to strengthen the quality of the Network – thereby enhancing TIP’s overall value to you and all other Network Members.

—Fees are due and payable at the beginning of each month 

  • Network Membership fees begin at the start of the month following our acceptance of your Network Membership Application
  • We prefer to handle monthly billings and payments with a Bank Drafting Authorization, though other arrangements are possible if needed.
  • Because our primary goal is to serve Network Members rather than to accumulate wealth, our costs are low.
  • For Network Members who join now, our costs are exceptionally low! 

ENROLLMENT PROCESS

  1. YOU prepare and submit a brief Network Membership Application.
  2. Current book of business with selected carriers, current loss ratios, other disclosures.
  3. WE will conduct a brief internal due diligence review of your Application.
  4. A decision is made in less than 15 days!
  5. Network Membership will begin at the start of the month following our acceptance of your Network Membership Application.
  6. Participation in carrier appointments and annual profit sharing arrangements is governed by the schedule of each individual carrier – an earlier enrollment improves the chances for your earlier participation.
  7. Our enrollment process is intended to be simple, yet meaningful in order to protect the overall value of Network Membership.
